说明说谎和欺骗能提高生理的反应性，至少GKT测试中的皮
肤电阻反应是这样的。该现象背后的原因很多，比如欺骗、犯罪
时留下的深蒯印象以及动机等等。由于本研究范式简单，除了
犯罪信息和被试类型不同外其他都相同，所以与别的测验（包括
不同类型的复杂问题）相比该范式是很基本的。
由于本研究与布雷德利和沃菲尔德（1984）研究的激励水平
不同，所以通过比较两者可以确定动机的作用。结果没发现任
何差异。当然，激励不会影响无罪无知组，但是从理论上推测它
对有罪组和无罪知情组的影响应该乐同。因此很难知道是什么
使得两研究间的差异不显著。布雷德利和沃菲尔德研究中的被
斌A4较少，统计分析的效力较低。虽然两研究的实验程序类
似，但它们已经间隔了四年。时间的因素致使这种比较不够合
理。最后也是最重要的一点，实验中测谎姑束时所得蓟的一点
酬金无法与实际生活中刹谎产生的严重后果相比，因此本研究
得到的结果不能推广到实际生活中。
如果把本实验结果应用于现实生活，余出现许多有趣的问
题。目前实际测谎中使用的是虚假控｛10的问题测试（ Lykken．
1981）．而GKT则甩得很少。不使用GKT的部分原因是它套
把一些无罪知情者错判为有罪。对修改后的GKT的研究支持
了这种观点井证明了使用者慎用GKT的合理性，因为50％的
无罪知情者被错判为有罪。但是，一直忽略GKT也是不好的。
GKT可以用作嫌疑犯的粗选测试，至少依据皮肤电阻分数所做
出的判剐正确率还是很高的。
